  “My name is Gary Curry, and I am an F&I trainer with over 20 years of high-level Finance and Insurance experience. My background is rooted in real-world retail success, averaging $2,700–$3,350 PVR over the course of my career. My training is not corporate theory—it is practical, tested, and immediately applicable for F&I managers at every skill level.

My foundation was built early through athletics. I played baseball in high school and college as a catcher. As a catcher, you lead the field, manage the game, read people, control tempo, and perform under constant pressure. That position taught me accountability, preparation, and leadership—skills I still rely on today.

While playing baseball in college, I studied Speech and Communications, building a foundation in presentation, influence, listening, and clarity—skills that directly translate into high-level F&I performance.

After baseball, I served in the military as a combat medic. That experience shaped how I operate when pressure is high and the margin for error is zero. Discipline, structure, and decision-making matter—and that mindset carries into everything I do.

Following the military, I entered the automotive business. After my first five years in the car business, I stepped away for five years to pursue real estate. During that time, I became a real estate professional and ultimately owned my own company, Home Run Financial Services, where I served as CEO. That period gave me deep experience in finance, compliance, capital management, and risk—skills that would later elevate my F&I performance.

After building that business, I returned to the automotive industry to continue my career, bringing with me a deeper understanding of finance, structure, and process. 

  That is the mindset I bring into every dealership and every training session.”
